A rubric explains the criteria I use in assigning grades and serves as a guide to help you as you complete your projects. What constitutes “A” work? I have not specified what constitutes an “A” to help you focus on doing the best work that you can with out being preoccupied by whether or not you’ve done just enough to get the right letter grade. Design is a creative endeavor. Consequently, doing well depends on more than just fulfilling the bare minimum assignment requirements. Part 3: Craft/Format 4 pts	Exceptional \| A+ range	Very Good \| B+ range Printed poster has no white border, is trimmed to the correct final size, and is cleanly cut. Presents posters that are free of peeling paper, sticky glue spots, folds, or other debris.	Acceptable \| C range Printed poster is not trimmed to the correct size, was not properly set up using full bleeds, or has rough cut edges. Presents posters with areas of rough craft: peeling paper, sticky glue spots, folds, or other debris.	Unacceptable \| F range Printed poster is not trimmed Poster is printed on regular computer paper or has numerous areas of rough craft.
