All components of the question are attempted and all answers make sense. It is easy to identify what part of the essay is answering which part of the prompt.
Accuracy & Effectiveness
Poor
Information utilized is not appropriately connected to the course material. The views attributed to the Buddhist account are inaccurate. As a result, the author's answer to the prompt is difficult to take seriously.

Paper is structure in a way that is well-suited to the prompt. The structure is effectively communicated throughout the piece. This structure helps the reader understand the author's response to the prompt.
Claims are supported by Reasons
Poor
None of the major claims are supported by reasons. The author's solution is presented as though everyone agreed with their perspective. No evidence for why their answer is the best is provided.
Acceptable
Some of the major claims are supported by 1-2 reasons. Because not all of the claims are supported, the author does not succeed in convincing the audience of their answer.
Good
All major claims are supported by at least one reason. The reader can see how this reason is being used to support the author’s response to the prompt, but it may take some effort.

There are a few major grammatical problems. There are several awkward phrases throughout. While present, these grammatical problems do not get in the way of the reader's ability to understand the author's response to the prompt.
Excellent
There are no major grammatical problems. Very few awkward phrases are present. Thus, the grammar does not get in the way of the reader's understanding the author's solution to the prompt.
