Passing The writer's reflection essay vaguely states how the writer has applied course learning. The writer's argument made about gains made may be overly general, predictable, mechanical, or obvious.	Good The writer's reflection essay competently articulates how the writer has applied course content through the revisions made.	Very Good The writer's reflection essay makes an evidence-based argument about how the writer has applied practical, rhetorical, and/or ethical knowledge through the revisions completed.	Excellent The writer's reflection essay demonstrates and explains significant achievement and development in application of course learning goals and individual learning goals. The writer makes a compelling argument regarding what motivated the revisions completed.
